Enquiry privacy information

Last updated: 2 September 2026.

Who we are

Qivrel Technologies Ltd (“Qivrel”, “we”, “us”) is the controller of personal information collected through the Qivrel website enquiry route. Qivrel Technologies Ltd is registered in England and Wales under Company No. 16841295.

Information we collect

When you submit an enquiry, we collect the information you choose to provide: your organisation, work email address, purpose of contact and message. We may also process limited technical and security information needed to operate and protect the enquiry service, such as IP address and browser, device or anti-abuse verification signals.

Please do not submit confidential, sensitive or special-category personal information through the enquiry form.

Why we use your information

We use enquiry information to receive, assess, route and, where appropriate, respond to institutional, evaluation, partnership, technical, research, privacy and other relevant enquiries. We also use limited technical and security information to operate and protect the enquiry service from abuse. We do not use information submitted through this enquiry route for unrelated marketing.

Our lawful basis and legitimate interests

For routine business and professional enquiries, we generally rely on legitimate interests. Our legitimate interests are operating a secure business enquiry channel, assessing approaches made to Qivrel, protecting the service from misuse, and communicating with people and organisations who choose to contact us.

Where processing is necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a contract, to comply with a legal obligation, or for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims, another lawful basis may apply where appropriate.

Is providing information required?

Providing information through the enquiry form is voluntary. However, without sufficient contact and enquiry information, we may be unable to assess or respond to your submission.

Service providers and recipients

We use Cloudflare to host and protect the website and to provide Turnstile anti-abuse verification. We use Microsoft 365 to receive and manage enquiry communications. These providers may process personal information as necessary to provide their services. We do not sell enquiry information.

We may also disclose information where required by law or where reasonably necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal rights.

International processing

Our service providers operate internationally and may process personal information outside the United Kingdom. Where this occurs, we rely on an applicable adequacy arrangement or other appropriate transfer safeguards in accordance with UK data-protection law. You may request further information about the safeguards relevant to your information through our Privacy / Data Protection enquiry route.

How long we keep information

We keep enquiry information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected. Routine enquiries that do not develop into an ongoing relationship are normally retained for no longer than 12 months.

Information may be kept longer where an ongoing business, technical, research, contractual, security or legal relationship requires it, or where we have a legal obligation or another justified reason to retain it.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, UK data-protection law may give you rights to access, correct or erase your personal information, restrict processing, and object to processing. Some rights apply only in particular circumstances.

Your right to object

Where we rely on legitimate interests, you have the right to object to processing in certain circumstances. We will consider any objection in accordance with applicable data-protection law.

Automated decision-making

We do not use enquiry information to make solely automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects. Automated anti-abuse checks may be used to protect the enquiry service.

How to contact us about privacy

To make a data-protection request or raise a privacy question, use the Qivrel enquiry form and select “Privacy / Data Protection” as the purpose of contact.

Complaints

If you have concerns about how we handle personal information, you may contact us through the privacy route above. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO). Information about making a complaint is available from ico.org.uk.

Changes to this notice

We may update this Privacy Notice where our processing activities, services or legal obligations change. The current version will be published on this website.
